Abstract: In the actual production process of the internal mixer, the leakage of powder often occurs.
These leakage of powder not only pollute the environment but also shorten the life of the machine. How to
improve this situation through design means has become an urgent problem. Due to the complex structure of
the internal mixer dustproof seal system, it is difficult to simulate the actual structure by the general modeling
method. This paper adopts the APDL language modeling of ANSYS software, and uses the powerful cell library
of the software to establish a contact analysis model that conforms to the actual working state. Based on the
results of finite element analysis, an improved scheme for sealing surface lubrication was proposed, and the
effectiveness of the existing dustproof seal device was verified. There are two kinds of detection technologies
for the internal mixer dustproof seal device, namely pressure measurement and position measurement. Two
technical means can optimize the process parameters.
