Abstract: A gear with a modulus of 1 mm and a number of teeth less than 12 is definitely a modified gear.
Worm and worm gear are naturally modified worm and modified worm gears. The cloned modified gear and
worm gear, as well as the modified worm gear and sample modified gear, have all the same parameters,
while the width of the modified gear is very narrow. When the parameters of narrow and small modified
helical cylindrical gears cannot be measured, it is necessary to explore how to determine all the parameters
of the modified helical cylindrical gear based solely on the modulus, number of teeth, center distance, and
diameter of the tooth tip circle of the modified gear, and then determine all the parameters of the modified
worm and modified worm gear. To process the cavities of clone modified helical cylindrical gears, modified
worms, and modified worm gear molds, it is necessary to make electrodes or broaches for processing them.
If all their parameters cannot be determined, it will become impossible to manufacture corresponding
electrodes, cavities, and products. Therefore, calculating their parameters is the key to designing modified
gears, modified worms, and modified worm gears. Incorrect parameters can cause problems such as large
meshing clearance, high transmission noise, and unstable rotation. Incorrect parameters can also lead to
undercutting at the root of the teeth, resulting in poor strength of the teeth. When loaded, it is certain that the
teeth with undercuts will be knocked out, making the gears unusable.
