                                        Structural design of an off-road tire

                    Abstract: This article introduces the design of 285/70R17 121Q off-road tires. In terms of outer contour: the
                design outer diameter of the tire is 834 mm, the inflated section width is 292 mm, the running surface width of
                the tire is 240 mm, the design running surface arc height is 11.8 mm, the bead diameter is 430 mm, and the
                tire bead width is 245 mm, and the horizontal axis position of the tire section is 0.842 3. The tire tread pattern
                design is divided into M type and L type, and the two patterns are alternately variable pitch, the pattern
                depth is 13.3 mm, and the pattern saturation is 66.26%. Tire construction design: fully layered design of tread
                extrusion components, which can better distinguish rubber types, and has stronger functionality. Sidewall
                extrusion components are dual composite design, and the 1# and 2# belts of the cap layer uses 3×0.30HT
                steel cord, and the traveler at the bead part has an oblique hexagonal structure, which better guarantees
                that the finished cross-section traveler is nearly circular after cutting; The equipment used for the molding
                of the tire blank is Safe-run one-step molding machine, and the equipment used for the vulcanization of
                the tire blank is South Korean Donghe hydraulic vulcanizing machine. The vulcanization process is nitrogen
                vulcanization. The outer edge dimensions, strength performance and durability of the finished tires produced
                meet the requirements of national standards.
