                    Abstract: Tire companies have very strict requirements on the environment of the workshop. Generally,
                it is necessary to turn on the refrigeration unit to control the temperature of the workshop in May. Especially
                in the summer, consume cold amounts is very large. Traditional lithium bromide refrigerators use steam as
                an energy source, which consumes a lot of energy. With the advancement of science and technology,
                electric refrigeration compressor technology, especially centrifugal compressor technology, has made
                rapid development in recent years. The energy efficiency ratio is far greater than that of vapor refrigeration.
                Therefore, lithium bromide refrigeration has no advantages in front of electric refrigeration. Shandong Wanda
                Baotong has realized the purpose of energy saving and consumption reduction by reforming the refrigerator.
                By transforming the steam refrigerator into an electric refrigerator, the operating cost is reduced, and energy
                costs of about 500,000 yuan are saved every year. This article explains the working principles of steam
                refrigeration and electric refrigeration units, and analyzes and compares energy efficiency at the same time,
                which can be used as a reference for industry comparison.
