Design of 185/60R14 82H TAXIPLUS special tire

Abstract: This article introduces the design of 185/60R14 82H specification TAXIPLUS taxi tires. In terms of
outer contour, the design outer diameter of the tire is 575 mm, the inflated section width is 194 mm, the running
surface width of the tire is 138 mm, and the design running surface arc height is 6.1 mm. The bonding diameter
of the bead is 350.1 mm, the bonding width of the tire bead is 153 mm, and the horizontal axis position of
the tire section is 0.984 3. The tire tread pattern design is divided into long pattern (M type, L type) and short
pattern (S type). The three patterns are alternately variable pitch, the pattern depth is 8.5 mm, and the
pattern saturation is 69.35% [2-3]. In terms of tire construction design: the tread extrusion parts are fully layered
design, which can better distinguish rubber types and have stronger functionality. The sidewall extrusion parts
are of doube composite design, and the 1# and 2# belt materials of the cap layer use 3×0.30HT steel cords.
The traveler at the bead part has an oblique hexagonal structure, which better guarantees that the traveler
part of the finished section is nearly circular after cutting. The equipment used for green tire building is the
Safe-Run one-stept building machine. The equipment used for vulcanization of green tire is Korea Donghe
hydraulic vulcanizing machine, and the vulcanization process is nitrogen vulcanization. The outer edge size,
strength performance and durability of the finished tire meet the requirements of national standards.
