Abstract: Tissue engineering scaffolds have been widely used in the repair of various tissues such as skin,
cartilage, cardiovascular, and heart. Tissue engineering materials are divided into two categories: natural
materials and synthetic materials, all of which need good biocompatibility. The preparation methods of
tissue engineering scaffolds mainly include phase separation, freeze-drying, foaming, particle leaching,
electrospinning, 3D printing, etc. This article reviews the materials, preparation methods and applications of
tissue engineering scaffolds.
Key words: tissue engineering scaffold; material; preparation method
