             Study on structure and properties of butyl rubber modified with lignin

                 Abstract: In order to make full use of the lignin, reduce pollution and increase economic effects.
             Experiments using cashew shell oil (NC700) to research modified lignin, then by contrast wet immersion lignin
             filled butyl rubber and cashew nut shell oil modified lignin filled butyl rubber, this paper studied the size of
             modified lignin, and the performance impact of different varieties with different amount of lignin on the butyl
             rubber.This paper found that the smaller the diameter of the cashew nut shell oil modified lignin, the better
             dispersion performance. Cashew nut shell oil modified lignin-filled butyl rubber, Shore hardness, given tensile
             stress has a significant decrease, while the breaking strength, tear strength appeared a peak whenmodified
             lignin amount is 40 ~ 60; permanent deformation became large. The performance of the contrast wet soak
             the lignin-filled butyl rubber are increasing with the increase in the amount of lignin. The properties of butyl
             rubber filled with lignin in the wet process are increasing with the use of lignin.
