                         Study on properties and  leakproofness of commonly
                                            used oil resistant rubber

                 Abstract: The vulcanization characteristics, mechanical properties, aging resistance, oil resistance
             and sealing properties of commonly used oil resistant rubbers were studied, including nitrile rubber (NBR),
             hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR), acrylate rubber (ACM), neoprene (CR) and fluororubber (FKM). The
             results showed that compared with HNBR, ACM, CR and FKM, NBR has excellent process characteristics such
             as good fluidity, good scorch safety and fast vulcanization speed.On the whole, CR and HNBR have the best
             mechanical properties, followed by NBR, while ACM and FKM have the worst mechanical properties; HNBR,
             ACM and FKM have the best aging resistance, CR is the second, and NBR has the worst aging resistance; The
             order of oil resistance from good to bad is: FKM>NBR4975>ACM>HNBR>NBR3365>CR; the order of service life
             of rotary shaft lip seals is: FKM>ACM>HNBR>NBR3365>NBR4975>CR.
