Abstract: With the continuous development of China's automobile transportation industry, the production
of waste tires has also sharply increased, becoming a "black pollution" issue of concern for both China and
the world. This article conducts a systematic analysis based on the current situation of the waste tire cracking
industry, such as non-standard development, small scale, low overall technical level, insufficient government
attention and attention, domestic refining and intermittent refining still occupying the main production
capacity of the industry, and low value of cracking carbon black and cracking oil. Combined with the
content of the project "Key Technology Research on High-value Application of Cracked Carbon Black from
Waste Tires" carried out by our company and the milestones achieved, we put forward overall solutions
to improve the industry's regulatory system and mechanism, access conditions, and the development of
high-value application technology for cracked oil and cracked carbon black. Our goal is to realize the
"reduction, harmlessness, greening, resourcing, reuse and recycling" of waste tires, improve the profitability of
continuous thermal cracking, promote the technological upgrading of thermal cracking industry, and help
the implementation of the national "dual-carbon" policy.
