Abstract: This paper firstly introduces the basic polymerization principle of nitrile rubber synthesized
by low temperature emulsion technology, and also introduces the basic process parameters and control
of NBR production in chemical plants. Finally, NBRs of two emulsion systems were prepared using factory
equipment, and the basic parameters for the reaction and its synthesis were explored. The results showed
that with the increase of polymerization time, the solid content of the two systems gradually increased, and
the solid content of system B was greater than that of system A in the middle and late reaction stages. As
the polymerization temperature increases or decreases, the Mooney viscosity of NBR products increases or
decreases. As the reaction time increases or decreases, the Mooney viscosity of the NBR product increases or
decreases.
