Abnormal analysis and solution of ABS production
by twin screw extruder

Abstract: The extruder belongs to plastic machinery, which can be divided into single screw extruder, twin
screw extruder and multi screw extruder. Its basic components include: screw, die block, cylinder, heating
and cooling unit, temperature and pressure detection and other components. It is widely used in plastic and
rubber industries. In the production process, because of the reasons of the mechanical equipment itself or
the irrationality of the design structure, it will affect the product quality and the operation of the equipment.
For these reasons, this paper summarizes some key operation and maintenance methods from reality, so as to
effectively solve or avoid the abnormalities of the product or equipment, which can provide help or reference
to the industry.
