Abstract: The traditional cleaning method of the segement mold has increasingly prominent and sharp
impact on the uniformity of the tire, especially on the environment. The laser cleaning technology of the
segement mold was born with the trend, and has achieved considerable development through its application
in recent years. In the online laser cleaning technology, the handheld equipment of CleanLaser in Germany is
in the leading position, but the application effect is poor due to many factors such as operating environment,
labor intensity, operation stability, and adaptability. In the offline laser cleaning technology, the fixed and
mechanical arm equipment technology of Germany 4JET Company is relatively advanced and mature, but
the service cannot keep up with it, and the investment and maintenance costs are expensive. The newly
developed laser cleaning fixed equipment has been applied to the offline cleaning of Hefei Wanli's 2 million
all-steel tire flexible die, with remarkable comprehensive efficiency. The scientific research achievements
of this technology have important economic and far-reaching strategic significance for the localization of
offline laser cleaning equipment and the promotion and application in the tire industry. At the same time, it
has laid a solid foundation for further developing online automatic laser cleaning equipment, promoting the
upgrading and transformation of the tire industry and achieving the goal of "green, low-carbon, intelligent
and efficient".
