Effect of new nano carbon material (SG3-G) on mechanical properties
and thermal conductivity of SBR/POE vulcanizate

Abstract: This paper studied the effects of new nano carbon materials (SG3-G) with different blending
levels on the mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of styrene butadiene rubber (SBR1502)/
ethylene octene elastomer (POE) vulcanizates instead of N660 carbon black. The results showed that the
Mooney viscosity of SBR/POE compound remained unchanged, the M H -M L of vulcanizate slightly decreased,
the scorch time T 10 slightly increased, and the T 90 basically remained unchanged with the increase of the
amount of SG3-G replacing N660. The hardness decreases slightly, the tensile strength decreases, the constant
tensile stress under small deformation is basically unchanged, but it decreases under large deformation, and
the permanent tensile deformation increases; With the increase of thermal conductivity, the heat transfer
performance is improved.
