Influence of DCP dosage on the performance of MPU/PA12 TPV

Abstract: This experiment studied the physical and mechanical properties, heat-resistant media properties
and dynamic mechanical properties of MPU/PA12 TPV under different DCP dosages. The study found that as
the amount of DCP increases, the dynamic vulcanization torque of MPU/PA12 TPV increases and the speed
becomes faster. The tensile strength of MPU/PA12 TPV increases, the elongation at break decreases, and
the hardness increases slightly. After the aging of hot air and hot oil, when the amount of DCP is 1.2 parts,
the overall performance retention rate of MPU/PA12 TPV is closer to 100%. With the increase of the amount
of DCP, the G'and G" of MPU/PA12 TPV increase. With the increase of temperature, the G'and tan δ of TPV
change abruptly near the softening point of PA12.
