                    Abstract: Polyaniline, also known as conductive plastic, is a promising conductive polymer. Due to the
                difference in the type of doping acid, the ratio of raw materials, and the synthesis conditions of doped
                polyaniline, there will be differences in structure and performance, which will affect its application effect.
                In this paper, six common protonic acids were used to prepare polyaniline powders and polyaniline/silica
                composites by chemical oxidative polymerization, which were applied to metal surface anticorrosion. The salt
                spray resistance and electrochemical properties of different series of samples were tested. The results show
                that the polyaniline/silica coating doped with hydrochloric acid has better corrosion resistance under the
                same preparation and test conditions. Compared with the sample without composite silica, the anticorrosion
                effect and electrochemical performance of the composite material are greatly improved. Conductive
                polymer-based anti-corrosion coatings have good film-forming properties and substrate affinity, and are a
                promising water-based coating material.
