Effect of different vulcanization processes on the mechanical properties
of CR/NBR blended rubber before and after hot oil aging and the
withholding properties of hoses

Abstract: This article mainly studies the effects of different vulcanization processes on the mechanical
properties of CR/NBR blended rubber before and after hot oil aging. The CR part was pre-vulcanized for a
certain period of time by pre-vulcanization, and then blended with NBR to study the effect of pre-vulcanization
on the performance of the blended rubber before and after heat-resistant oil aging. The vulcanization
characteristic experiment shows that the pre-vulcanization process will reduce the maximum torque and the
torque difference, and t 10 will be shortened. The results of physical and mechanical performance experiments
show that the pre-vulcanization process increases the tensile strength and elongation of the blended
rubber after hot oil aging, as well as the performance retention rate before and after aging, and the overall
performance is improved. The simulation results show that the pre-vulcanization process reduces the static
stiffness, the strain energy density at the stress concentration element and the Mises stress at the same node.
